Dorothy N. Vise (Goll) Landers

Dorothy Nadine Landers was born in Wilsonville, Nebraska to Darrel O. Vise and Nella H. (Best) Vise and died in Honolulu, Hawaii. Dorothy came to Longmont, Colorado in the summer of 1938 to live with her mother and stepfather Arthur Goll.She began working at the First National Bank of Longmont in December 1942 and graduated from Longmont High School in 1943. Dorothy met her husband George Dale Landers at the bank. They were married on March 31, 1946 at the First Christian Church parsonage in Longmont.Dorothy was a member of the First Christian Church in Wilsonville and transferred to the First Christian Church (now LifeBridge Christian Church) in Longmont.Mrs. Landers was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Eva (Harold) Adams, and brother Robert Lee Vise. She is survived by daughter Jolene (Edward) Morgan of Honolulu, Hawaii, son Kent (Jan) Landers of Longmont, three grandchildren Jake, Mike, and Dominic Landers, and five great-grandchildren Rebekah, Thomas, Theresa, Lucy and Augustine Landers.A private memorial will be held at Mountain View Cemetery in Longmont.Please share your thoughts, memories, and condolences with the family at www.Ahlbergfuneralchapel.com.
