

Eileen Lambert, age 76, of Longmont passed away at her home November 10, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was born April 3, 1936 in Palo Alto, CA to Edwin and Camille (Gunter) Feliz. She was member of the Pitt River Indian Tribe and proud of her Native American heritage.
Eileen married Harrel Lambert on March 2, 1963 in Wichita Falls, TX. Eileen and Harrel moved to Longmont from Oklahoma in 1966. Eileen was retired from IBM and still an active missionary in the Czech Republic for the past 11 years at the time of her death. She was a committed servant of Jesus Christ. Eileen was a member of the women’s auxiliary of Gideon’s International. She enjoyed whitewater rafting, cooking and entertaining guests, fishing, camping and liked having “Lucy experiences”. Eileen was legendary for her banana cream cake, enchiladas and her brownies. She loved being a Nana, and loved to laugh. Her favorite flowers were white daisies and orchids.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Crossroads Church, 1115 1st Street in Fort Lupton, CO. Interment will be in the Sterling Cemetery in Sterling, OK on November 17, 2012 at 1:00 p.m.
