Eileen Virginia Yarbrough

Eileen Virginia Yarbrough, of Longmont, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 6, 2007. She had been a resident of Life Care Center since November 2006. She was 83 years old.Eileen was born September 4, 1924, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to George and Selma (Rosenquist) Kemmitt. In 1940 she moved with her parents to Glendale, California, and graduated from Glendale High School in 1942. She attended Valley College in Van Nuys, California.On July 31, 1942, Eileen married John Theodore ?Ted? Yarbrough in Seattle, Washington. The couple made their home in California where she raised her family and later became a real estate broker. The Yarbroughs moved to Longmont in 2005.Mrs. Yarbrough enjoyed family camping trips, especially boating and fishing. She tirelessly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.Mrs. Yarbrough is survived by her sons, John Gary Yarbrough and his wife, Beth Hamby, of Redlands, California, and Donald Dennis Yarbrough and his wife, Peggy, of Loveland, Colorado; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; and her special sons, Ron Renaud and Agustin Guzman.She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted, on January 25, 2007, her parents, and by a daughter, Virginia Ann Yarbrough.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at Howe Mortuary, Longmont. Reverend John Zisch will officiate. Interment will follow at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Samaritan?s Purse, P.O.
