Esther Davis emerged gently from matter into Spirit on 03-31-2021. She was 91 years young. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband and all of her 5 siblings. She is survived by her 3 daughters, 7 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.
Esther moved with her family to California at 10 years old. She graduated high school and then had an exciting career in show business with her twin sister as a chorus line dancer at the Roxy Theater in New York City. They were also the opening act in supper clubs, theaters, and country clubs throughout the US in the early 50s. She loved talking about her “Show Business” career.
Esther married in 1956 and worked as an executive secretary before she became a loving and devoted mom to her three daughters. They raised their girls in Seal Beach, California and enjoyed living 4 miles from the beach. Esther’s husband passed on in 1989, and she stayed in Seal Beach until 2004 when she decided to move to Longmont, Colorado, to be near one of her daughters, who were all living in different parts of the country at this time. The grandkids loved visiting “Grammy-Es’s” house in California every summer for a couple of weeks, swimming in her backyard swimming pool and hanging out at Seal Beach. It is still a favorite childhood memory.
Esther loved living in Colorado and spending time with family. She welcomed any and all visitors and especially enjoyed the Colorado sunsets. Her positive attitude and joyous outlook will be sorely missed.
She will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Mortuary in Cypress, Ca. next to her husband at a later date.
