On Monday, January 31st, 2022, EvaMarie Ann (Simonetti) Goldsworthy, loving mother, sister, and aunt entered eternal life at the age of 62 at Boulder Community Hospital. EvaMarie was born on January 18th, 1960 in Midland, Michigan to Alexander and Josephine (Brown) Simonetti. A graduate of Longmont Senior High School in 1978, she married Robert Goldsworthy and took pride in being a homemaker and mother to her three children.
In addition to her full-time job of child-rearing, she was a certified Electronics Quality Assurance Inspector with MiniScribe in the 1980s. She earned her real estate license in 1994, and briefly worked for Heart Realty. An exercise enthusiast, she enjoyed Jane Fonda aerobics and running. She was the ultimate cheerleader for her children’s many interests, shuttling them to gymnastics and football practices, baseball games, and camps. She was known for her bright smile that lit up a room, and offered any free time she had to babysit her nieces and nephews.
EvaMarie loved holidays and always had the house decorated with festive embellishments. Her baking skills were exceptional, making delicious cherry and apple pies for Thanksgiving, and cookies for Christmas. Her children’s birthdays were a priority. She adored her family, and reveled in spending weekends with her parents, brothers and sisters, and their children. She cherished cats, and opened her arms to many of them.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Ralph. She is survived by her ex-husband Robert; daughter Pauline (husband Kevin Kolendich) grandchildren Rhodes and Corah; son Robert (wife Casey Hill); daughter Catherine; sister Christine Brennan; brothers Paul and Peter; numerous nieces and nephews, in-laws and friends; too many to list, but not forgotten.
A visitation and funeral service to honor the life of EvaMarie will be held Thursday, February 10th, 2022, Howe Mortuary 439 Coffman Street Longmont, CO, at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, family requests that you donate to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America at www.hdsa.org in her memory.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.howemortuary.com for the Goldsworthy family.
