

Fred Lieberman was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 1930. Fred served in the Navy for four years, and as a self-taught creative artist, worked in commercial art for many years as a creative art director in one of the foremost lithographic firms in San Francisco. In that capacity, Fred won numerous “Best of the Best” creative graphic design and illustration awards for his work regarding many national brands. An incredibly talented but modest painter and sculptor, Fred had his own creative design business, Lieberman Design, and focused his talents on his love of Western art. Fred exhibited on the West Coast, and in Colorado, and most recently at the Old West Museum in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Fred was a Freemason, and a Past Master of Burlingame Lodge #400 in California. He was also a member of the Scottish Rite and Shriners. Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Anna Fizzon and Chaim Lieberman, and son-in-law, Russell Landis. Fred, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Lieberman; his daughters: Hyla Schreurs, Adrienne Schramm, and Ann Landis; his sons-in-law: Joe Schreurs and Kevin Schramm; and his eight grandchildren: Xander, Zach, and Zoë Schreurs; Maggie, Jesse, Max, and Jack Schramm; and Bobby Landis.
Graveside services and interment will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Rose Hill Cemetery, 6841 E. 62nd Ave. Commerce City, CO. 80022
