

Fred married the love of his life and soulmate Clarice Algiere in 1949. They lived in Bradford, RI until 2012. Fred worked as a foreman at Arwood Corporation until he retired, however he continued to work at EZ Package Store until the age of 81. Fred was a World War II veteran, serving as a Navy radar man during the Pacific war campaign. He loved to work in his garden, watch Westerns, and loved to read. As a member of Saint Vincent Catholic Church in Bradford R.I. he served on The Mens Club, an outreach to the community for many years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis and his mother, Mabel. His brother John Greene and by his beloved son, Frederick Joseph.
Fred was survived by his wife, Clarice of Firestone, CO and his 2 beautiful daughters, Susan Greene (Richard Martell) and Jean Denham (James), also of Firestone. His siblings Catherine Knight, Annie Parnigoni, and Ethel Filosi. He is also survived by his 4 grandchildren: Daniel Warner (Sara), Longmont; Jacqueline Chohon (Brock), Firestone; Jessica Mabbitt (Shaun) Frederick; and Crystle Rickman (Kevin) Firestone.
He was the best Pop to his 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren: Andrew, Lindsay, Eric, Isaac, Nate, Hayden, Gabriella, Brooklyn, Aaliyah and Riyah.
A mass will be held in Fred’s honor on Tuesday December 5th at 11am at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Frederick, CO.
