Frederick Glenn Robb

Frederick (Fred) Glenn Robb, 67, of Firestone, Colorado passed away August 24, 2018 at the Berthoud Living Center in Berthoud, Colo. He was born February 15, 1951 in Springfield, Ill. to Ray and Stella (McGovern) Robb.The family moved from Springfield, Ill. to Boulder, Colo. in 1958 when Fred was 7 years old. The Robb family moved to Lyons, Colo. in 1964. He graduated from Lyons High School in 1970. He married Charlotte M. Bryan of Lyons on October 21, 1972.Fred was a machinist for over 20 years. His career included making parts for space exploration, the Hubble telescope, and the military. He also worked in the plumbing, auto body and construction industries. While employed full-time, he was a volunteer Assistant Fire Chief for the Lyons Fire Department.He was preceded in death by his parents, son John Raymond Robb II, sister Carol Robb, and brother Mike Robb.Fred is survived by his wife of 45 years Charlotte M. Robb, son Frederick G. Robb II and wife Holly, grandchildren Jameson Brown, Adessa Robb and Frederick G. Robb III, brother Tom Robb and wife Betty, sisters Vickie Robb and Penny Letwin, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday August 30, 2018 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday August 31, 2018 also at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Lyons Cemetery, Lyons, Colorado.
