He was a devoted husband to Judy Griffitt, a loving father to Sondra Donovan, Vallorie Gilbreath, Garry Griffitt Jr., and Garry Griffitt III, a doting grandfather to Sara Donnelly, Jeremiah Donovan, and Lindsay Lee, and a loving brother to Audrene Brown, Larry Griffitt, Rosie Reed, and Gayle Green.
He proudly served his country in the US Air Force.
He will be remembered for his love of family, his kindness, his smile, and his love of the outdoors. Garry will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who had the blessing of knowing him.
A Celebration of Garry's Life will be held on Friday, May 08, 2026 from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm at The American Legion Post 32 located at 315 South Bowen Street, Longmont, Colorado. At 1:00 pm the American Legion Honor Guard Post 32 will render military honors for his service.
Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary & Crematory of Longmont.
