Gary Clark

Gary Clark of Longmont died July 10, 2008, at his residence. He was 44.Gary was born January 30, 1964, in Teaneck, New Jersey to Al and Joan (Haines) Clark. The family moved to Longmont in 1970 from New Jersey.Gary graduated from Niwot High School in 1982, where he was active in football, wrestling and track.Gary took great interest in the West, especially enjoying the many outdoor activities afforded living in Colorado. His enjoyment in life was fishing, hunting, and mostly being outdoors with his two sons, Ryan and Derek, his dad, and two brothers, Kevin and Scott and many of his good friends. An accomplished hunter, he participated traditional, as well as musket loading and bow hunting.Gary married Karri Means in Longmont on December 9, 1991.Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Joseph and Emily Clark and Jim and Teresa Haines; an uncle, Jim Haine; and an aunt, Lorraine Conte. Surviving are his wife, Karri of Longmont; two sons, Ryan and Derek Clark of Longmont; his parents, Al and Joan Clark of Longmont; two brothers, Kevin Clark of Dacono, and Scott Clark and his significant other, Kay Randell of Ft. Collins; in-laws, Frank and Marilyn Feldman of Rio Rancho, NM; a brother-in-law, Mike Means and his wife, Kim of Gilbert, AZ; and a nephew, Tyler Means of Gilbert.Visitation will be held at Howe Mortuary on Monday, July 14, 2008, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 15 at the Howe Mortuary Chapel with Deacon Michael Berens officiating.
