Gloria Priscilla Derma (Lira)

Gloria was born on May 12, 1955 in Pueblo, Colorado the daughter of Juan and Pauline (Martinez) Lira. In 1971 she moved back to Colorado from Wyoming. On February 10, 1999 she married Baldemar Derma in Longmont, CO.

Her parents, her first husband Patrick Rivera her sister Rafita Chavez and her brother Joe Atler preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, her sons Matthew (Christina) Lira, Patrick (Nicole) Rivera, Gabriel (Stephanie) Rivera, Juan Carlos Argott and 7 grandchildren: Matthew Jr, Deanna, Brendan, Patrick, Jr. Daisha, Anissa and Gabriel Jr., all of Longmont. She is further survived by her sisters Mary Gonzalez, Alice Lira, Jennie Vallejo, Frances Garcia, Teresa Martinez and Beatriz Garcia, and her brothers Paul Lira, Cyril Lira, Savino Lira, Julian Perez, Robert Lira, Charlie Lira and Richard Martinez as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 9, from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. at the Howe Mortuary in Longmont, CO.

Recitation of the Rosary will be at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 10, 2010 at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Frederick, CO. Services will conclude at the Church with cremation to follow at Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services.
