Guy Peter Antony Colitti

Saturday morning November 23, 2013, Guy bid us all farewell with a wave and a view of the Rocky Mountains he loved so much. Guy was born on September 28, 1962 in Landstuhl, Germany (Ramstein Air Force Base) and grew up in Wiesbaden, Germany until 8th grade. He moved with his family to Battle Creek, Michigan where he graduated from Pennfield High School in 1980 and met his lifelong best friend Chuck Simmonds. Guy attended Kellogg Community College where he was active in the Ski Club. As his sisters college graduation present, Guy traveled to Colorado and fell in love with the Rocky Mountains. Upon returning home, his brother offered and bought him a one way ticket to return to CO. Still young, Guy met and married Gina Arnold. Together they had their son Vinnie. An excited father, Guy loved giving Vincenzo his name. Guy and Gina divorced in 1999. Guy worked for Pepsi Co for over 20 years. Guy was preceded in death by his parents (E.A. and Sheila) and grandparents. Guy is survived by his son Vincenzo Vinnie Antonio Giovanni Colitti, brother Marc Colitti, sister Renata Colitti O'Day, nieces Julia and Emily Corlett and his darling sunshine Kim Engard. Guy lived for Tuesday Golf with his buddies at Ute Creek, the Broncos, Colorado Buffs football, NASCAR Racing and weekly Poker with friends at the Eagle Grill. In death, he gave life and sight to others through The Donor Alliance and Lions Eye Institute. A celebration of Guy's life and cremation has taken place.
