Herb was born in Louisville Colorado, the youngest of 9 children. After graduating from Erie High School, he helped on the farm until he was drafted in the Army where he was then stationed in Germany.
Upon his return he met and married Vada Miles on September 29, 1957. Together they raised 4 children, Bill, Jim, Becky and Ken. (And all the other kids that hung out at the house.)
Herb loved Hunting, Fishing, Camping and sneaking off to play the slot machines at Cripple Creek a couple of times a year and Ice Cream. Stock Car Racing became a big part of the Brack Household which meant a garage full of kids. Herb said having the kids there kept them out of trouble!
In 1979 Herb started his own business. Buckeye Welding Supply Co out of the back of a pickup and a shed and grew it into a successful business. His business grew because of the man he was. Honest, Dependable, Fair, Man of his word with a Great Sense of Humor and just a bit of orneriness.
Helping others out was an admirable trait that came easy to him. His Smile and Quick Wit will truly be missed.
Herb is survived by his Wife Vada, Son Bill and Wife Bambi, Daughter Becky, Son Ken, and daughter in law Amy. 6 Grand Kids, 7 Great Grand Kids, Brother Bob, Sister Bonnie and several Nieces and Nephews.
Herb was preceded in death by his Son Jim.
