Jade Alexandra Jensen

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Jade Alexandra Jensen, 21, of Chandler, Arizona on March 17, 2022. Jade was surrounded by loved ones as she moved from this life to the next due to complications from a seizure.

Jade was born in Louisville, Colorado on February 2, 2001. She spent most of her life in Colorado, a few of her childhood years in Florida, and had recently moved to Arizona. Jade attended Longmont High School in Colorado and Cactus High School in Arizona where she received her diploma.

Jade always had a funny joke to tell. Her smile and laughter brought joy to everyone around her. She loved dogs and was able to volunteer at the Longmont Humane Society when she was a teenager. She also enjoyed other volunteer work through the Life Skills Ace and transition to work programs in Colorado and Arizona. Most recently, she worked at Camp Bow Wow in Mesa, AZ as a groomer’s assistant.

Jade loved to play sports and spent years playing on various unified and Special Olympics teams. Her free time was often spent playing softball, basketball, swimming, bowling, horseback riding, and video games.

Jade was predeceased by her father, Michael Jensen. She is survived by her mother, Mary Jensen, and siblings, Melanie, Gavin, and Allyson.

Jade was a light and a joy to everyone around her and we will all miss her.

Services will be held Monday, March 28th, 2022 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1721 Red Cloud Road, Longmont, CO 80504. A viewing will be held at 10am, with funeral services starting at 11am. The burial will be at Mountain View Memorial Park in Boulder Colorado. All are welcome to attend.
