
Jean Marie Fuller, 89, died September 30, 2013 at Longmont United Hospital, her husband, Everett Ray Fuller, 86, preceded her in death on February 1, 2012 at the Life Care Center of Longmont.Jean was born December 19, 1923 in Lamar, Colorado to John Grover and Aileen Macie (Gates) Gergen, Everett was born June 16, 1925 in Niotaze, Kansas to Atron Paul and Grace Pearl (Barnhart) Fuller.Everett was inducted into the United States Army on Oct. 27, 1943 at Ft. Leavenworth, KS. He was a Medical Technician and served Europe where he helped establish a general hospital in France. He was Honorably discharged March 4, 1947.Jean and Everett were married on November 2, 1957 in Oceanside, CA. They resided in Wichita, KS for many years, then moving to Lamar, CO. In 1971, they made Colorado Springs their home, moving to Longmont in 1997.Jean worked as a retail clerk for K-Mart in Witchita and Colorado Springs, retiring from K-Mart in Colorado Springs after many years of service. Everett had a long career as a meat cutter, working mostly for Safeway stores in Wichita, Lamar and Colorado Springs. He retired from Safeway in Colorado Springs after more than 30 years.While Everett enjoyed working with his hands doing woodworking, leather work and gardening, Jean enjoyed arranging flowers including those that he grew. They enjoyed working together on their homes, Everett remodeling them and Jean decorating and transforming them from houses to homes filled with love for each other. They also loved to fish, camp and travel in their RV. Jean enjoyed shopping for bargains and Everett was always on the lookout for a senior citizen discount. They were both preceded in death by their parents. Everett's older sister Edna and younger sisters Pearl and Alice precede him in death. Jean is preceded in death by sister Alice and brothers Erwin, Coy and Wayne.Jean and Everett are survived by sons Randy Fuller of Longmont CO, Jerry Lacy of West Cliff, CO her sisters Reva (Kenneth) Stevens of Denver CO and Norma Morning of Evans CO and his brother Paul Atron Fuller of Collinsville, OK.A double interment will take place at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 9 at Fairmount Cemetery in Lamar, CO. where they will be together for eternity as they were together in life here on earth.
