Jennifer Marie Grundl

Jennifer Jenny Marie Grundl passed away July 1, 2018. She was 55 years old.Jenny was born on February 20, 1963 in Milwaukee, WI to Richard Carl and Kathleen Ancilla (Dennis) Zimmerman. She grew up in Menomonee Falls, WI the oldest of seven children. She graduated from Menomonee Falls North High School and went on to graduate from both the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse and the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.On June 30, 1984 she married Douglas Gerard Grundl. Jenny was the District Art Coordinator and a Teacher in the Cedar Grove Belgium school district for five years. Once her first son Chris was born she began a new chapter in her life as a stay-at-home mom homeschooling all five of her sons.The family moved to Longmont, CO from Fond du Lac, WI in 2000. Jenny was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.She belonged to numerous organizations.Jenny enjoyed arts and crafts especially stained glass, drawing, colored pencils, weaving and teaching. She loved life and loved her family and spending time with them most of all.Jenny is survived by her husband Douglas of Longmont; her sons Christopher Douglas (Samantha) Grundl, Nicholas Gerard (Katelynn) Grundl, Patrick Richard (Ciara) Grundl, Daniel James Grundl and Nathaniel John Grundl; her parents Richard and Kathleen Zimmerman; her brothers Brian (Sue) Zimmerman, Timothy (Jennifer) Zimmerman and Anthony (Heather) Zimmerman; her sisters Beth (Joseph) Von Arx, Rebecca (Michael) Donlon and Martha (David) Litton; her Godson John Paul Von Arx; and numerous nieces and nephews.A visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 PM with Rosary Prayers at 6:00 PM on Monday July 16, 2018 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday July 17, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Cremation will follow the Mass at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
