Matthew was born on April 3rd 1970. He is survived by his wife Nicole Hill, daughter Katlyn Hill, father Gerald Hill, father in law Ben Garcia, sisters Lori Irtenkauf and Erin Fredrickson. Proceeded in death his mother Cheryl Hill and mother in law Vanessa Garcia.
Matt and Nicole were married for 25 years. He was an operations parts specialist at St. Vrain Valley School district for 6 years.
Matt was a Colorado native born in Boulder Co, and grew up in Frederick CO.
He met his wife Nicole in Longmont where they made it their home. Their daughter Katlyn was born January 26th 1996. Matt worked for many years at Jeffco airport before getting a job closer to home. Matt loved to hunt, camp, his boats, and water skiing. Matt was a very loving husband, father, son, son in law, brother, and friend.

A celebration of Matt's life will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, September 30, 2018 in the Howe Mortuary Chapel. A reception will follow in the Howe Mortuary Event Room.
