JoAnn Haas

JoAnn Haas, 81, of Longmont, formerly of Berthoud, passed away October 21, 2017 at TRU Community Hospice Care Center. She was born April 19, 1936 in Denver, Colorado to Clayton L. and Madeline B. (Warn) Lohr.JoAnn graduated from North High School in Denver; she married LeRoy A. Haas on May 28, 1955 in Lakewood, Colorado.JoAnn was a school secretary for Peck Elementary School; she also was a mother and homemaker. She and LeRoy moved to Berthoud, Colorado in 1990 from Arvada, Colorado.She was a practicing Catholic. Spending time with family was everything. She made pajamas every Christmas, and Halloween costumes for her grandchildren. She was an avid Broncos fan.JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, and brother John Lohr.JoAnn is survived by her husband LeRoy, two daughters; Sheryl Coloroso and husband Bryan and Meri Vickers and husband Jeff, son Larry Haas and wife Laura, seven grandchildren Robert, Dakota, Jenna, Alek, Kyle, Kevin and Katey.A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM Wednesday Oct. 25, 2017 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Longmont; Interment will follow at Foothills Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Longmont.
