John R. Mullen

Jack was born and raised in Westfield, New Jersey. Following his high school graduation in Westfield, he earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Notre Dame. He then completed Law School at St. John’s University in New York. Jack spent three years serving his country in the United States Navy. Jack worked his whole adult life as a Senior Executive for Johnson and Johnson Company. Jack was also Director of Kroc Peace Institute of the University of Notre Dame for many years.

While Jack spent most of his life in New Jersey, his last eleven years were spent in Longmont with his wife Fran. Jack and Fran married at the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana on December 3, 2011. Jack was a man of great faith and was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Boulder, Colorado. He enjoyed spending time at the ocean, both surfing and swimming, many rounds of golf, and traveling with Fran. He was loved and will be missed.

Jack is survived by his wife, Fran, and his children, Michael, Paddy, Neilli, Killeen, and Shannon. He is also survived by Fran’s children, John, James, Lisa, and Suzanne, and many grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel 326 Terry St, Longmont, CO 80501.
