John Robert Page

John Page, 72, of Longmont passed away August 24, 2016 at Longmont United Hospital, from lymphoma.Born October 11, 1943 in Bemidji, MN to Robert M. and Helen (Gibson) Page, he later married Barbara Carol Gedrose on September 18, 1965 in Carrington, ND. They lived in Bemidji until 1971, then moved to Thief River Falls, MN where he worked as a technical illustrator for Arctic Cat snowmobiles. In 1981 they moved to Longmont, CO where he began a 32 year career with Ball Aerospace as a Senior Graphics Artist and model maker.John actively served as a member of Calvary Church, and was a dedicated servant of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He also enjoyed fly fishing and making scale models at home.He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law Pat Page.John is survived by his wife Barb and daughter Pam of Longmont; son Todd Page (Crystal) of Auburn, IN, and grandchildren Naomi and Benjamin; brother Jim Page of Leavenworth, KS; sisters Sarah Page of Tahlequah, OK and Ruth Eastling (Tom) of Bemidji, MN and nieces and nephews Becky Eastling, Angie Trowbridge (Dan), Brian Eastling (Becky) and Glen Page (Chris).The memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, Aug. 29, 2016 at Calvary Church, 2101 Gay St, Longmont.
