Joseph Frank Manning

Joseph Frank Manning, 66, of Loveland, CO passed away August 29, 2015 at McKee Medical Center. J was born August 2, 1949 in Mobile, Alabama to Robert Edwin and Anne (Pailing) Manning.J 's family moved to Nebraska in 1951 when he was 2, living in Hebron and then Lincoln. He moved to Colorado in 1978 and lived in Longmont until 1995 when he moved to Loveland. J married Janet Brockman Norris on September 24, 1979 in Las Vegas, NV.J worked at the Turkey Plant in Longmont and then Brannon Sand & Gravel in Denver before beginning a 33 year career at Martin Marietta Cement Plant in Lyons. The company was later known as South Down and Cemex. He retired on August 2, 2012.J was a huge sports enthusiast. He loved Big Red Cornhusker sports and enjoyed playing and coaching baseball, basketball and football with his kids. J shared his favorite passion, golf, with his friends traveling to tournaments in Mexico, Reno and Vegas and playing locally.He was preceded in death by his parentsJ is survived by his wife Janet, children Penni Nickol (Nik), Jeremy Norris (Saddie), Tricia Johnson and Stephanie Manning, brothers Bob (Yanti), Walt, John (Christine) and Mike , 7 grandchildren Austin, Codi, Sarah, Robbi, Tommy, Hunter and Kizzy, two nieces Elizabeth (Richard) and Jennifer, three nephews Jimmy, Mark (Sheryl) and Mikie, great-nephews Ricky and Jonah and great-nieces Morgan and Ophelia.Memorial services will be held at 11:00am Friday, September 4, 2015 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. A reception will follow at the family home. Cremation entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
