
Judith Prosser Price Gray died in Boulder, Colorado on April 23, 2010. She was 73-years-old. Judy was born August 21, 1936 at Friends Rescue Mission in Columbus, Ohio, to Beatrice Marie Reams and Dwight M. Prosser. She was adopted by Helen Mae Waltz Price and Alanson Lawrence Price of Mansfield, Ohio. Judy grew up in Mansfield, and graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in June, 1954. She attended Ohio University, Athens, graduating in June, 1957. Judy married Martin Bennett Gray in Mansfield, February 4, 1956. They later divorced. Two children were born to that marriage: Sabrina Joan Gray Lee (Robert) of Longmont, Colorado, and Bruce William Gray (Barbara) of Paradise Valley, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, biological mother and father, and great granddaughter, Kristen Lee. She is survived by her children, ex-husband of Boulder, her grandchildren Jennifer Lee and Brian Lee, both of Longmont, Taylor Lees and Nicara Lees, both of Scottsdale, Arizona, and three great grandchildren: Mayleana Neumann Lee, Cassandra Lee, and Kyla Lee, all of Longmont. Judy had been very involved in genealogy research of her biological families. She served as editor of the Rocky Mountain Buckeye, a newsletter of the Colorado Chapter of the Ohio Genealogy Society for eight years and was president of that chapter for six years. In her genealogy research of her biological families she was successful in tracing back many generations, including a family in Switzerland in the 1600s. Through her genealogy studies she was in contact with, though never met, many cousins.Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Service. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. today, Tuesday, April 27 at Howe Mortuary Chapel with David Bradshaw officiating.
