

Justin Brooks Dudley, 26, of Aurora, Colorado, died suddenly at his home on December 3, 2008.Born December 13, 1981, in Lincoln, Nebraska, to Clint and Joy Renee (Denney) Dudley, his family moved from Lincoln to Longmont in 1993. Justin attended the Shining Mountain Waldorf School and graduated from Niwot High School in 2000 where he played soccer and basketball.Justin's entrepreneurial spirit led him to start his own company, Smart Publications, at the age of 18. Never content with the status quo, he was constantly searching for the next big thing, and implored others to do the same. He was a self-proclaimed ""computer nerd"", and a Camaro and Mustang Cobra enthusiast. He also took great pride in helping with the home birth and delivery of his son, Julian.He will be forever remembered by his life companion, Chrystal Shearer and their sons, Julian and Angelo; his father, Clint Dudley of Longmont; his sisters, Myke Hill of Longmont, and Carmen Dudley and her fiancé, Mark Sample, of Longmont; maternal grandfather, Edward Denney of Hendersonville, Tennessee; maternal grandmother, Margie Slayton of Huntsville, Alabama; paternal grandfather, Rod Dudley of Orlando, Florida; and Rose Dudley of Lincoln, Nebraska; as well as extended family members and friends.He was preceded in death by his mother, Joy Renee Dudley in 2007.A memorial service will be held at Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services in Longmont at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2008.
