Keith Sterling Boggs

Keith Boggs passed away October 25, 2019 at the Northern Colorado Acute Longterm Care Hospital. He was 75 years old.Keith was born on May 18, 1944 in Sterling, CO to JV and Effie (Groce) Boggs. He grew up in Sterling and graduated from Sterling High School before attending the University of Denver where he earned two Masters degrees.In 1967 he married Sandy Carey. Keith worked at Front Range Community College at all three of their campuses both teaching and working in administration until his retirement in December of 2016. He enjoyed his job very much. Keith and Sandy moved to Longmont in 2018 from Erie.In his free time Keith enjoyed hiking, reading, keeping up with politics, camping, walking, fishing, playing with his great grandson Roman and in previous years golfing.He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Timothy Boggs.Keith is survived by his wife Sandy; his sons Tim and Chad Boggs; his brother Byron Boggs; his grandchildren Kiley Hutt, Nicole Boggs, Dagny Boggs, Maxine Boggs and Chad Boggs; his great grandchild Roman Pena; and his brother and sister in law Don and Audrey Carey.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday November 2, 2019 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel with a reception to follow at the Chapel.
