Our family would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Kenny Ross. Kenny was also a very important member to our family through his long time relationship with Margaret, our late sister. Kenny was a lot of fun and a joy to be around whether it was sharing a Rockies game, a spicy Mexican meal, or just a casual get together and chat. The Broncos, Nuggets, Avalanche, and the Rockies will have a hard time replacing one of their most ardent fans! I'm so sorry for your loss.  The world would be a much better place if everyone had a heart like Ken's.  He was one of the kindest and most generous people I have met.  I will miss him as we all will. 

Kenny was most definitely a part of the Heicher family. His long-term devotion to Peg made her life richer. He loved Spooky, the orange marmalade cat that was in turn devoted him. Kenny was open, honest ... and a really dedicated sports fan. We will always remember his enthusiastic cheering at the Rockies gamss. The family is a little less without him.

My Dear Friend My Buddy Ken, the memory of you will forever live in my heart.  I will miss you.  So many times you and I talked about how this moment would come.   It saddens me so.I am so grateful God put such a wonderful Friend like you into my life. You were such an inspiration to me.  You never gave up and were always there to give me kind words when I was at the hardest times in my life. You always told me â€œthese things have to happen they are a part of lifeâ€. You would always say to me that even though you had a physical disability, you knew what things in life were right and wrong, what had to come, and what had to go.  You mentioned so many times how your Dad never let you give up, â€œto get up and go and to never let anyone make you feel badâ€.   How I remember those words.  Even when sad things would happen, you always made yourself strong. I remember some  of the silly stories you told me.    I Remember the Bronco winnings and â€œOhâ€™ and what about when they lost, â€œwow what a day!â€ I will never forget that.Your wisdom was far beyond what could be seen.   And through all the years, to me Ken you were not just another co-worker you were my friend, my family.  You are resting now.  â€œWe will see each other againâ€.Your friend Muriel

         My husband Burdette shared a room with Ken for about 14mos.at the Peaks Care Center.         My husband can barely speak due the disease that he has,butthat never stopped the friendship the the 3 of us built.'My boysI often called them would sit side by side watching old Lucy &Three Stooges re-runs for hrs at a time laughing like children with no careain the world.         I loved sharing the treats with Ken that i brought,although sometimes a little messy.One of the C N A. S Pam would ask Ken what did he have all over his face,then turn towards me & laugh.         We are all going to miss Ken in room 120.He was a kind &loving person who would always tell you the truth if you asked him a question.If you did'nt want a truthful ans.then you would know not to ask.         Iknow Ken is in a better place now &he is with our Lord.butmissing the old Ken will be hard            God bless all the family  Burdette& Vicki Smith

I had the pleasure to work with Ken at Bison Designs for a few years. He always had a smile on his face and never complained about anything.
