Lindsay Rae Gutierrez went safely home, walking hand in hand with God on April 7, 2011. Lindsay was born on May 6, 1991 in Boulder to Rae Schmidt and Paul Gutierrez. She was a beautiful red-haired baby at birth. She and her mother moved to Longmont when she was 1 year old. Lindsay liked music and was a talented artist. Lindsay received her GED in 2009, attended a cosmetology school, and then worked in landscaping. All were art to her.Lindsay is survived by her mother, Rae Schmidt of Longmont; her half-sister Connie MacIntosh and nephew Gage of Thornton; her aunt, Liane Adams (Jim) of Bonsall, California; her aunt Connie and other aunts, uncles and cousins living in Trinidad.Lindsay is preceded in death by her father, Paul Gutierrez and grandparents Jane and Alan Schmidt.No services will be held. Contributions can be made to Liane Adams to help defray costs and mailed to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
