

Lois Harriet Mock passed away on December 25, 2013 in Chipley, FL. She was 89 years old.She was born on March 5, 1924 in Broomfield, CO to Charles and Frances Anna (Sherratt) Parker. Her father was a coal miner and her mom stayed at home to raise the family. Lois graduated from Longmont High School in 1942. On October 29, 1963 she married Fred Lee Mock, Jr. in Longmont, CO. She worked as a dental assistant, waitress, bookkeeper and stay at home mom; she was always busy & never retired. Lois was a Baptist for most of her life and enjoyed singing in church choirs & teaching Sunday school. She also acted in plays and belonged to the bowling club, she was a 4-H and Boy Scout leader. She successfully raised three sons, one daughter and one step-daughter. Lois always tried to maintain a positive attitude and help others. Even friends of her children called her mom.Lois loved animals, especially Midnight (her dog), Morris, Moses, Forrest & Missy (kitties). She enjoyed gardening, writing, studying her Bible, playing games; she had a delightful wit & sense of humor. Her sisters said she had so much faith, always came whenever they needed her, she was upbeat, a good cook & never took the same road to get anywhere!Lois was preceded in death by her husband Fred in 1998, her sons Albert Johnson in 2001 and Fred Mock III in 2004, her step- daughter Barbara Ann Mock in 1997, her parents; her brother Albert Parker in 2009; and her granddaughter Amber Mock.She is survived by her son Randel Johnson of Raeford, NC; her daughter Lynda Agner of Wausau, FL; her sisters Dorothy Cameron of Longmont, Olive Atherton of Rock Springs, WY, Leona Miller of Longmont, and Dona Atherton of Loveland; her grandchildren Kimberly Brack-Seibel of Steamboat Springs, Butch Johnson of Longmont, Brendie Brack of Colorado Springs, and Randie Miller of Perry Hall, MD; her great-grandchildren Stephanie Johnson of Longmont, DeVonne Brack of Arvada, Josie Seibel, Parker Seibel, and Ryley Seibel all of Steamboat Springs, Felicia Griffith, Brittany Miller and Megan Miller all of Perry Hall, MD; one great-great-granddaughter Willow Brack of Arvada; and many nieces and nephews.A memorial service will take place at 2:00 PM Saturday January 25, 2014 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
