

Lynda Kay Ault was born on April 8, 1947 in Phoenix, AZ. She was the daughter of Wm “Clyde” and Nettie McKissack. She died Feb. 5, 2016 in Longmont, CO. She married Jeff Ault on June 13, 1970 in Ft. Worth, TX. They enjoyed 38 wonderful years together until his death in Jan. 2008. Lynda graduated from Sandia High School in Albuquerque, NM. She received her bachelor’s degree from Wayland Baptist College in Plainview, TX and her master’s degree from Texas Women’s College in Denton, TX. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Weatherford, TX.
Lynda had a passion for learning and a willingness to share it with all. She was an outstanding teacher, beginning her career in Glendale, AZ, then moving to teach in Grapeview, TX. She ended her teaching career with many years at Weatherford High School in Weatherford, TX.
Lynda moved to Longmont, CO to be near family in 2013. She was devoted to her family and friends. Her pride and joy were her niece Christi, great-nephew Camden, and great-niece Chandler. She loved her friends and shared her many talents with them.
Lynda suffered from MS and was a severe asthmatic, but a fall down her stairs took her from us much too soon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and one sister. She is survived by her sister Sandy Donahoo and her husband Randy of Longmont, CO; her niece Christi Hoel and her husband Stephen and their children Camden and Chandler. She is also survived by one brother-in-law Russ Ault of Orlando, FL. Also surviving her are many precious friends.
