

Huff, Lynn, 60, of Boulder died February 2, 2013 while vacationing in Hawaii. Lynn retired in 2010 as a Division Chief after 32 years of service with the Longmont Fire Department. Before joining the Longmont Fire Department, Lynn spent four years with the Cherryvale Fire Protection District, now called Rocky Mountain Fire District. Lynn continued to volunteer his services and expertise to the district.
Lynn lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed travel, sailing, hiking, fishing, camping, golfing, biking and reading. Retirement allowed him to spend more time with family, friends and to enjoy all the activities he loved.
Lynn is survived by his wife of 41 years, Barbara, his son Christopher Huff (Westminster), his daughter-in-law Erin Huff (Westminster), his grand-daughter (Westminster), his brother Lyle Huff (Ft. Collins), and his sister Laurie Mosby (Phoenix, AZ) and her three children and three grandchildren.
Lynn will be remembered for his dedication to serving the public, for being a mentor, his passion for life, his easy going personality, his sense of humor and his intense love for his family.
Memorial services will be held at 10 AM on Friday, February 15th at Life Bridge Christian Church in Longmont. In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations at

A reception will be held following the service at the American Legion, 315 S. Bowen St. Longmont, CO.
