
Lynn Wirsing, 63, of Longmont, Colorado, passed away peacefully March 28, 2011 at her home surrounded by family members.Lynn was born in Denver, Colorado on September 10, 1947, to Jack and Margy Wirsing. Her father was in the Navy so the family moved frequently and she attended schools in Colorado, California, Washington State, and the Philippines. She graduated from high school in Washington State and subsequently attended college in Japan while the family was stationed there.Lynn was married to Robert Parker in 1971 and had three children, Zach (Yaz) Parker of Indianapolis; Aaron Parker of Longmont and Emily Parker, currently in Longmont. She and Robert divorced in 1984. Lynn moved to Granby in 1985 and married David J. Miller of Longmont in 2003.Lynn spent six years as a flight attendant for TWA. In Colorado, she worked for Wirsing & Co. property managers in Winter Park. She later went on to work as an office administrator for accounting firms in Boulder, Colorado. Lynn's greatest joys were raising her family and being with her two grandchildren. She loved time spent in the mountains or traveling and camping with her husband, David. She also enjoyed reading and knitting.Lynn is survived by her mother, Margy Wirsing of Highlands Ranch, CO; her two brothers, Michael Wirsing of Clearwater, Florida and Jeffery (Janne) Wirsing of Highlands Ranch, CO; her three children; and two grandchildren, Riley and Cody Parker of Indianapolis. Lynn was preceded in death by her father.Many thanks for the wonderful support provided by the ALS Association and HospiceCare of Boulder and Broomfield Counties, as well as family and friends.Cremation has taken place at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
