Lynne Marie Stevens-Brandt

Lynne Marie Stevens-Brandt, 60, of Highlands Ranch, CO, passed away February 16, 2019 at her home.She was born November 9, 1958 in Des Moines, Iowa to George and Jo Ann (Miner) Stevens. Lynne moved with her family to Longmont, CO in 1967. She graduated from Niwot High School in 1977. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a minor in Economics from the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, Class of 1982.Lynne married Richard L. Brandt in August of 1984 in Longmont. They were blessed with two children Steven W., born in 1988 and Rachael E., born in 1992.Lynne returned to school at Arapah Community College in Littleton and graduated in 1996 with an Associate of Applied Science-Nursing degree. She has since held many positions, but her most rewarding was as an Obstetrics Nurse at Denver Health Medical Center. She retired in 2008.She enjoyed quilting, scrapbooking, traveling and taking cruises.She was preceded in death by her mother Jo Ann and her son Steven.Lynne is survived by her husband Richard, daughter Rachael, father George and brother John, his wife April and their three children.Memorial service will be held 11:00am Thursday February 21, 2019 at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Mead, CO.
