Maria Nicola Dipaolo

Maria N. DiPaolo of Greeley, died April 22, 2010 at her residence. She was 61.Maria was born on April 20, 1949 in Longmont to Gus DiPaolo and Incarnata (Cory) Rossetti. She grew up in Frederick and graduated from Longmont High School in 1967. Maria attended and graduated from Colorado State Teachers College (University of Northern Colorado) with a degree in teaching and counseling. She taught for three years in Ft. Morgan before taking a counseling position for Windsor High School. She worked in this position 31 years before retiring in 2005. Maria had varied interests. An accomplished artist she especially enjoyed oil painting and drawing. She was also busy golfing, playing bridge and traveling with dear friends. Maria is survived by her mother and father of Frederick; a sister Yvonne DiPaolo of Longmont; two nieces, Nicole and Sydney Allen of Firestone and numerous cousins. A cremation has been entrusted to the Howe Mortuary and Crematory Service.Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 28 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Frederick. A Mass of the Christian Burial will immediately follow with Father Hernan Flores officiating both services.
