Maria Salas Morales

She was born on April 21, 1929 in D’Hanis, Texas to the late Jose Francisco Salas and Alifonsa Cardona.

Family & friends were extremely important in her life. Maria is survived by a host of family that includes her loving children, Maria (Pablo) Gomez of Firestone, CO; Magdalena (Ramiro) Rivera of Mead, CO; Amalia (Salvador) Rivera of Dacono, CO; and Jose (Lynda) Morales of Longmont, CO; precious grandchildren, Anthony, Rosa, Moraima, Elva, Selma, Pablo, Ramiro, Carlos, Joseph, Rachel, Lilia, Monica, Salvador, Joey, and Angelina; Siblings, Ruben Salas, Mike Ybarra, Jose Felan, Connie Gomez, Esperanza Perez, Josie Perez, Dolores Ybarra, and Ilda Ybarra; as well as many wonderful great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, Maria was preceded in death by her husband Toribio E. Morales; daughters, Elizabeth Beltran and Susanna Morales; Son, Neftali Morales; brothers, Luis Salas, David Salas, Rudy Salas, Willie Ybarra; and sister, Rebecca Salas.

Visitation will take place Monday, February 10, 2020 from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm; followed by a Chapel Service at 1:00 pm; the Reception will immediately follow the Service at Howe Mortuary in Longmont. The burial will take place on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Longmont Mountain View Cemetery.
