Marilyn A. Whittaker, of Longmont, Colorado, died Monday, April 17, 2006 at Longmont United Hospital. She was 72 years old.Marilyn was born August 3, 1933 in Loveland, Colorado to Roy C. and Florence (Evans) Danielson.On March 12, 1953, she married William L. ""Bill"" Whittaker in Loveland. During their marriage, the couple made their homes in Denver, Washington, DC, Aspen, and San Francisco. They moved from San Francisco to Longmont in 1989.Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Bill Whittaker of Longmont; three daughters, Sharon (Neil) Milito of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Laura (Steve) Wright of Rochester Hills, Michigan, and Elizabeth (Mark) Marston of Montrose, Colorado; a sister, Linda (Jerry) Voss of Arvada, Colorado; and six grandchildren, Matthew, Patrick, Daniel, Christine, Rachel and Kelly.She was preceded in death by her parents.Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2006 at Loveland Burial Park.
