

Marge was born on September 28, 1926 in Burrton, Kansas to Clarence Louis Miller and Lennie Olive (Price) Miller.
Marge was raised in Kansas, but graduated from David Starr Jordan High School in Long Beach, California where her family lived for a short time. She also met her future husband, Robert Leroy Sisson, in Long Beach where he was stationed during World War II.
Marge and Bob were married on December 25, 1944 after his discharge from the United States Navy. They lived for a time in Georgia where Bob worked for Eastern Airlines and Marge worked for Southern Airlines. They settled back in Kansas and remained there until Bob retired. They then moved to Oregon to be near two of Marge's sisters and lived there until Marge moved to Colorado in 2009 to be near her sons, Larry and Steve.
Marge worked as a secretary for State Farm Insurance during her years in Kansas. Upon moving to Medford, Oregon she was active in the First United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women's organization. Marge also was a volunteer with Respite.
Marge was preceded in death by her husband Robert, an older sister Lois Miller, and one, grandson Logan Sisson. She is survived by an older sister Mary Louise Wright of San Antonio, Texas and a younger sister Wanda Snow of Medford. Also surviving her are two sons Larry (Susan) and Steve (Amy) Sisson of Longmont, Colorado; five grandchildren; Paul Sisson, Pete Sisson, Lexi (Sisson) Mylander, Lennie Sisson, and Stephanie Mayuko (Sisson) Shimabukuro. She is further survived by seven great grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 29, at First United Methodist Church in Medford, Oregon. Fellowship and light refreshments will follow in the church fellowship hall. Private interment will take place at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
