Martha T. Van Gent

Martha T. Van Gent, 100, of Longmont passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Life Care Center of Longmont.She was born December 26, 1914 in Jerome, Arizona to Otto and Louise (Bosiger) Pietsch.On September 21 1935 Martha married Joseph M. Van Gent in Denver, CO. She made her home in Denver for many years, moving to Longmont following J 's death in 2001, to be near her daughter and family.Martha was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.She was a member of Faith Community Lutheran Church.Martha's daughter, Judith Young, passed away July 10, 2015 in Los Lunas, NM, one day after Martha.Martha is survived by her daughter Joan Flowers (Mark) of Longmont, seven grandchildren J l Flowers (Nancy), Sharon Dawn (Russ), Daniel Flowers (Karen), Lea Weber, Keith Young (Peggy), Terry Grate (Don), and Joann Stephenson, eleven great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.Memorial services will be held 11:00am, Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Faith Community Lutheran Church.
