Martin Garcia

Martin Garcia, of Longmont, died Saturday, April 15, 2006 at Longmont United Hospital. He was 17 years old. Born October 27, 1988 in Van Nuys, California, the son of Aldolfo and Catalina (Aguilar) Garcia. Martin moved to Longmont in 1992 where he grew up and attended school. He was currently working on his high school degree while working construction full time. On April 17, 2005 he married Martha R. Hernandez in Weld County, the couple made their home in Longmont. Martin loved to work on cars; his dream was to start his own body shop once he finished his education. Martin is survived by his wife Martha and their newborn son, Oscar; his parents, Aldolfo and Catilina Garcia of Longmont; brother, Diego Garcia of Longmont; two sisters, Daysi Lopez and her husband Javier, and Iridiana Garcia of Longmont; maternal grandparents, Flor Valdez and Rogaciano Aguilar; paternal grandparents, Andrea Munoz and Francisco Garcia; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.Visitation hours Wednesday, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Howe Mortuary in Longmont. Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 20, at World Faith Ministries of Jesus Christ, 1243 S. Sherman Dr. in Longmont, Pastor Rosendo Treto officiating.
