

Michael Allen Hill, 59, and Donna Lois Hill, 55, died July 5, 2008, at their home in Belize.Mike was born March 8, 1949, in Basin, Wyoming, to Robert T. Hill and Irma (Coy) Hill. He was raised in Wyoming and graduated from Glenrock High School in 1967. Mike served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany. After his discharge, Mike worked, usually in construction, on various projects in Colorado and Wyoming. An entrepreneurial spirit, he started a business importing Indian crafts from Mexico in the late 1970s. In the mid 1980s, Mike purchased Riverside Liquors in Fort Collins, Colorado, which he converted into a successful business venture. Donna was born July 10, 1952, in Boulder, Colorado, to Donald Lewis Santerli and Lois (Dalrymple) Santerli. She attended schools in Boulder, graduating from Boulder High School in 1970. She graduated from Colorado State University with a B.A. in Business. Donna had worked for a number of companies in Fort Collins in office management positions. Mike and Donna were married June 23, 1990, in Fort Collins and made their home near Horsetooth Reservoir. Later that same year, the couple sold the liquor store, purchased a catamaran sailboat, moved to Belize, and started a tour and dive service out of Belize City called FantaSea Charters. After several years of operation, they sold the enterprise to pursue other ventures. They were involved in tourism, real estate, and land development.The Hills loved the outdoors, especially the mountains of Colorado and Wyoming, and the Caribbean off the coast of Belize. The couple were avid golfers, taking the opportunity to play wherever life's stops took them. Mike and Donna were passionate volunteers; they enjoyed preparing meals and providing clothing to the locals, especially during the holiday season. The couple will be remembered for their kindness and charity to children, the elderly, animals, and the environment. Mike is survived by his parents of Glenrock, Wyoming; a sister, Donna Lythgoe of Kent, WA; and two brothers, David Hill of Aurora, CO, and Jim Hill of Surprise, AZ. He was preceded in death by a younger brother, Thomas Hill, in 2004.Donna is survived by her mother of Longmont; two sons, Donhovan Billingsley of Longmont, CO, and Robert Shane Billingsley of Loveland, CO; two sisters, Frances Santerli of Easley, SC, and Evelyn Landin and husband, Ron, of Commerce City, CO; and four grandchildren, Morgan Slade, Tucker James, Zackary Paul, and Zade Christopher Billingsley. She was preceded in death by her father, and a sister, Martie Santerli.There will be memorial services held at three separate locations. A ""Celebration of Life"" service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, July 18, 2008, at the Glenrock (WY) Senior Center. An additional service will be held in Belize at 4:00 p.m., July 18 at the Cayo District Octavia Waight Center.
