Michael Stelmack

Michael Stelmack, 50, of Longmont, Colorado, died June 21 at the Hospice Care Center in Louisville.Michael was born October 7, 1955 in Boulder, Colorado to George and Jessie Irene (Sampson) Stelmack. He grew up and attended schools in Niwot, Colorado.Michael married Pauline Navarro in Longmont on July 1, 1979. He was a custodian for a number of years at Waddles Manufacturing in Longmont. More recently Michael worked for Vapor Technology in Gunbarrel. He enjoyed working on cars and doing mechanical work. He also was collector who just enjoyed collecting a variety of things.His father, a sister, Natalie Stelmack, and a brother, George Stalmack, preceded Michael in death.He is survived by his wife; three daughters: Michelle Pena and her husband Chris of Longmont, Melissa Stelmack and Sarah Stelmack, both of Longmont; two grandsons: Cristobal Pena, Jr. and Jacob Pena; his mother, Jessie Irene Stelmack of Westminster; seven brothers: Larry and Kevin Stelmack of Longmont, Steven and Kenneth Stelmack of Westminster, Ralph Stelmack and his wife Donna of West Virginia, Joseph Stelmack and his wife Brent of Aurora, and James Stalmack and his wife Jan of Greeley; and one sister, Carol Ann Flewwellin and her husband Phil of Grapevine, Texas. Visitation was held at Howe Mortuary on Thursday, June 22 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 23 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Reverend Brian Morrow officiating. Burial will follow in Niwot Cemetery.Memorial contributions are being requested by the family to help with expenses.
