Michelle Edwards

Michelle moved to Longmont Co at an early age and grew up there. She attended Central Elementary, Heritage and Sunset Middle Schools. She was known as the ""wrestling chick"" at Niwot High for a couple of years and then graduated from Olde Columbine High School in 2003. Michelle went on to get her degree in Massage Therapy.

Michelle was a waitress at several places in Longmont including Swanky Franks, Janie's Café and TGI Fridays. She was a bartender around town most recently at 3's and the Rocky Mountain Saloon.

She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. She loved camping, water sports, riding her motorcycle and spending time with her friends and family. Michelle loved people and truly cared about you. If you were her friend at 5, you were still her friend at 30. The one thing she loved more than anything from the moment she was born, her 8 year old daughter Patricia. She loved spending time with her going to Elitches, watching movies, and playing or wrestling. She was a very devoted Mom and her number 1 priority was making sure that Patricia grew up to be a caring, responsible, well behaved young lady.

Michelle is survived by her daughter Patricia Melanson, her mother Dee (Tom) Brennan of Longmont and father Leroy (Betty) Edwards of Minot ND, her brother Jeff (April) Edwards & Aayden of Minot ND, her half-sister Deann (Tommy) Yoder & Thad, Toby, and Stormy of Carlton Texas. Grandparents Ed and Barbara Brady of Joshua TX, Aunts Denise Gray of Benbrook TX, Diana Clasen of Wichita KS, Shawna (Eric) Davis of Ft Worth TX, great Uncle and Aunt John and Cherie Donaghue of Tulsa OK, and numerous 1st and 2nd cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandmother Patricia Moss, grandfather Shorty Moss, Aunt Debbie Patterson, and Uncle Ed Brady Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday August 18, 2015 at the Lifebridge Christian Church, 10345 Ute Hwy (66) in Longmont. There will be a reception following at the American Legion, 315 Bowen St, Longmont, CO.
