Myrna Dean Mircos

Myrna Mircos, of Frederick, CO. passed away April 11, 2022 in Broomfield, CO. She was 81. Myrna was born June 13, 1940 in Firestone, CO the daughter of Willma Dean (Patterson) and Nello Ciocchetti. She was raised in Frederick and graduated from Frederick High School. She married her high school sweetheart and raised four children in Frederick, CO. She was of Catholic faith.

Myrna was a homemaker, working briefly for a photography studio after her children were older.

Myrna loved spending time at her mountain cabin. She also loved cooking and reading, but more than anything loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Preceding Myrna in death are her parents, her husband Gus Mircos, her daughter Nicolle De Santis and her brother Neal Ciocchetti.

She is survived by her son Dean Mircos and her daughters Kari Mircos and Margo Mircos. She is further survived by her brother Bill Ciocchetti, her sister Jo Box and her grandchildren Gus Mircos, Niko Mircos, Alexandra Mircos, Maselli De Santis and Sophia De Santis, her great grandson Max Mircos and her daughter in law Amanda Mircos.

A visitation for Myrna will be held Monday, April 18, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Howe Mortuary, 439 Coffman Street, Longmont, Colorado 80501. A rosary will occur Monday, April 18, 2022 at 5:00 PM, 439 Coffman Street, Longmont, Colorado 80501. A funeral vigil will occur Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Howe Mortuary Chapel, 439 Coffman Street, Longmont, CO 80501. A reception will occur Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM, 439 Coffman Street, Longmont, Colorado 80501. A graveside committal will occur Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 12:30 PM at Lafayette Cemetery, 111 E. Baseline Road, Lafayette, Colorado 80026.

The family requests memorial contributions in Myrna’s name to the National M.S. Society.
