Nancy Carolyn Gray (Gray)

Nan was born in Oakland, CA to Walter and Genevieve Gray. Nan attended schools in the Bay Area. She obtained her RN from Creighton Memorial St. Joseph Hospital and later a B.S. in Nursing from Creighton University, both in Omaha.

She worked in numerous hospitals in Nebraska and Colorado. She was a member of the Sisters of St. Francis of Colorado Springs for a number of years. She taught skiing at Winter Park to disabled children in the Denver Children’s Hospital Sports Program for over twenty-five years. She was a member of the Hilltop Guild, the Allenspark Area Club and the Longmont Senior Computer Club.

Nan was preceded in death by her parent, his sister Mary Elizabeth, and her brother Walter, Jr. and his wife. She is survived by her nephew Michael Gray and his wife Claudia, two great nephews Stephen Grey and Scott Gray, along with his wife Karey and their two children.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church, Estes Park, CO on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at Memorial contributions may be made to the Hilltop Guild in Allenspark, CO or the Longmont Humane Society.
