Nathan Mathew Garcia

Nathan Mathew Garcia was escorted to heaven by the many angels waiting for him on Sunday, August 31, 2008. Born on December 25, in Greeley, CO, Nathan was the youngest of three sons to Berta Garcia and Mark Cordova. One of Nathan's most admirable traits was his undying devotion to those he loved. He was a man of immense loyalty. In addition, Nathan's positive aura was apparent to anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. He radiated energy through his presence. Nathan's brother James said it best: ""I will never let your smile escape my memory.""Nathan is survived by his wife, Marci; two beautiful sons, Nathan, and Theodore; his mother, Berta and her husband Tim Mendias; his father, Mark; brother Alejandro and his daughter, Franchesca; brother, James; additional siblings Amber Velasquez, Tasha and Austin Mendias; grandmother, Esther Mares; and numerous extended family. Family and friends are welcome at the viewing for Nathan on Thursday, September 4 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Howe Mortuary, 439 Coffman Street, Longmont. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, September 5 at 1:00 p.m. at Howe Mortuary, as well. Graveside services will follow at the Foothills Gardens of Memory in Longmont.
