
Norma Jeanne Clark, of Longmont and formerly of Boulder, died June 20, 2011 at home with her family at her side. She was 83 years old.Norma Jeanne was born on November 1, 1927 in Houston, Texas, the daughter of John and Mildred (Orchard) Sheehan. She attended Stephens College and Auburn University.Norma Jeanne married Hardy Clark, Jr. on July 12, 1948 in Atlanta, Georgia. They moved to Boulder in 1954 and later to Longmont in 2000.Norma Jeanne was a Human Resources manager for Boulder Enterprise, Inc. for 20 years before her retirement. Norma Jeanne was also a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Boulder where she was active in the Altar Guild. Above all, Norma Jeanne enjoyed her family and raised her children on Olde Stage Road in Boulder. She was a pilot and flight instructor prior to moving to Boulder.She was preceded in death by her husband in December 2002; her parents and her sister, Lois Weyrich.Norma Jeanne is survived by her son, Jack Clark (Janet) of Portland, OR; two daughters, Barbara Clark (Bob Alexander) of Newberg, OR and Donna German (Bruce) of Longmont and three grandchildren, Katie German, Jeremy Switzer and Benjamin German.A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, June 24, 2011 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Cremation is under the care of Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory. Inurnment at Ft. Logan National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to HospiceCare of Boulder and Broomfield Counties and can be mailed to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
