
Patricia Ann Goodman (McBride)March 11, 1932 ~ August 24, 2012Patricia Pat Goodman of Colorado Springs, formerly of Longmont, CO, passed away on August 24, 2012 with family at her side. Pat was born March 11,1932 in Indianola, NE to Glen Eddy and Carolyn Catherine (Colling) McBride. On June 24, 1954 she married Vern LeRoy Goodman in Hastings, NE. They lived in Hastings, Scottsbluff, and North Platte NE., before moving to Longmont in 1968, then to Colorado Springs in 2001.She worked in the Longmont school district for several years but caring for her family was always her first priority. In 1985 she received her GED from Longmont High School and was a member of Aglow International.Pat's love of life lead her to her ministry to women including traveling with her friend Mary. She loved baseball and the Rockies became her favorite team from their beginning. Her other passions were flower gardens, writing p try, scrap booking and camping with family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Vern and two sisters Jean Wellmann and Francis McBride.Pat was a loving sister to her two brothers Gerald Mike and Merle Ed McBride and her two sisters Eleanor Wellmann and Virginia Harlos. She is also survived by three sons Michael Goodman (Rosa), Mathias Goodman (Aleesha) and Anthony Tony Goodman, two daughters Cynthia Wacker (Tom) and Mary Patricia Anderson (Jonathan), seven grandchildren Jennifer McGuire, Emily Woolridge, Trisha Stratton, Scott Wacker, Tia Knuth, Sarah Westermajer and Justin Anderson. Her eight greatgrandchildren Jarod and Hailey McGuire, Brycen and Tristan Stratton, Gehrig and Grant Westermajer, Midori Wacker and Leo Walden Knuth were constant joyful reminders of her blessings in life. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, with Funeral Services at 11:00 AM, both Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel with James W. and Mary Greenhalge officiating. Cremation will follow services at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory. Inurnment to be held at Foothills Gardens of Memory.
