Patricia Ann Jacques

Patricia (Pat) Ann Jacques passed away April 8, 2009 at Longmont United Hospital.Pat was born on Sept 4th, 1927 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to John Henry Stuever and Viola Marie Blubaugh. She graduated from Saint Mary's Cathedral in Wichita, Kansas in 1944. She attended Catholic College in Guthrie, Oklahoma and trained and worked as a dental assistant for Dr Vernon Howard before she married Vincent Leo Jacques on June 25, 1949 at St Mary's Cathedral. She spent most of her life living in the San Jose, California area and Longmont, Colorado area with a few years during retirement living near her sisters Ann and Jane in Las Cruces, New Mexico.Pat was a loving mother and homemaker to one daughter and eight sons. She especially loved being around her children, 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She spent her life caring mostly for others and in return was dearly loved by her immediate and extended family.Pat is survived by her daughter Shari (Ross) Mobbs, 58 of Australia; sons Steve, 57 of Aurora, Colorado, Mike, 56 of Santa Cruz, California, Kevin (Amy), 54 of Longmont, Colorado, Tim, 52 of San Jose, California, Tom, 50, of San Jose, California, James (Darla), 48 of Gillette, Wyoming, Alan, 47 of Santa Cruz, California, and Brian (Stephanie), 42 of San Jose, California; brothers John Joseph (Virginia) Stuever of Wichita, Kansas and Max (Shirley) Stuever of Anndale, Kansas; sister Jane (Gary) Dalton of Las Cruces, New Mexico. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Howe Mortuary. A Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 16 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with a Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. A reception will be held immediately following the mass at Howe Mortuary. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services. Memorial contributions may be made to Susan G.
