Philip Paul Donahue

Philip Paul Donahue was born August 6, 1937 in Fitchburg, Mass. His parents were Walter Joseph Donahue, and Flora (Hayward) Donahue. Phil was graduated from Cushing Academy, Ashburnham, Mass in 1955.He joined the United States Air Force in December 1955 and spent twelve years and eight months in military service. Phil spent 30 years working in the Air Pollution Control Division for the Colorado State Health Dept. retiring in 2000. He married Virginia Spies at Lake Tah , Nevada on October 24, 1991. Phil has no children but is survived by a brother, Walter Donahue, living in Massachusetts, several nieces and nephews, three step children, several step grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.Phil was a sincere Christian and enjoyed listening to radio services from KPOF and Thru the Bible Radio Network programs. He was an avid Bronco fan and dabbled in gourmet cooking. He loved watching the cooking shows. He was a great humanitarian and will be missed by all who knew him.Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday October 27, 2012 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
