Ralph lived his 87 years as a Colorado Native with his loving Spouse of 61 years Vera Jane Giles by his side. He loved the Colorado Mountains and especially loved to Fish all the streams in Northern Colorado, and Gathered as many Different Rocks to add to his Collection. Ralph Worked for Boulder Valley Schools until his Retirement, where his wife and him moved to their country home in Berthoud, this is where he lived the rest of his life in the quiet Rural area. He was a very Loving and Caring man who enjoyed spending time with his Family and especially his dogs throughout his life. One of his Favorites things to do in life was to Plant Roses, as he enjoyed the Beauty of all Natures Gifts, this skill he passed down to his children.
He is survived by his Wife Vera Jane Giles (Berthoud Co), His daughter Dorrain and her spouse Don Schatt (Berthoud Co), His Daughter Judy Goss and Spouse Christopher Goss (Loveland, Co), and Son-in-law Patrick Kennedy (Longmont Co). He had many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, and he loved them all, even though in his later life he could not spend as much time with all of them. He is Proceeded in Death by His Parents, His Youngest Daughter Janell Kennedy of Longmont Co. Ralph will be so very missed by all that ever met or knew him, as he was always around to give a helping hand. Bless this man as he makes his Journey Home as We know he will always be watching over all of us.
BROKEN CHAIN, BY RON TRANMER
We little knew that morning that
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
you did not go alone;
for part of us went with you
the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
your love is still our guide,
and though we cannot see you,
you are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same,
but as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again.
