

Rick Steven Kramer, 60, of Longmont, died unexpectedly on January 29, 2016 at his home. He was born November 14, 1955 in Spring Valley Village, Minnesota to Janelle Margaret (Hack) and Andrew Daniel Kramer. In 1974 Rick entered the United States Marine Corp, being honorably discharged in 1977. He moved to Colorado in 2007 from California.
Rick was a member of the American Legion Post #32. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, watching old time westerns and was especially proud to be a Veteran of the U.S Marines. He also loved sports, especially the Minnesota Vikings and NASCAR. Rick was very proud of his family and enjoyed spending time with them . His smile and good natured attitude will be missed by each of us .
He was preceded in death by his father.
Surviving are his mother, Janellle [Kramer] Courtney of Algona, Iowa. Surviving siblings are Sherry (Bill) Jones of Texas, Sandi (Ben) Zuber of Algona, Iowa, Butch & [ Merri ] Kramer of Berthoud ,Colorado. Pat & [ Jerry] Hall of Garner, Iowa, Linda (Galen) Friedrich of Badger, Iowa, Marcia (Michael) St. Jean of Bennett, Colorado, Terry Kramer of Berthoud, Colorado and Joni Clark of Claire, Iowa. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Monday, February 8, 2016 at the Howe Mortuary in Longmont. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 pm, Staging area “A” at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO.
