I'll always remember you and I am proud that you are my Dad. I'm thankful that you were a part of my life for the last 12 years. You don't know how much that means to me. It gave me great strength and understanding having you there.  You are special to your grandson Bear, who always called you his ""grandpa with the guns"". You were so happy the two of you liked the same things. As if Bear was a ""chip off the old block"".  Desiree loves you and knows how much you loved everyone. She was amazed how well you kept in contact and was touched by all the beautiful letters you sent. You respected and accepted her, and even took interest in how her family was doing.   I wish you would have made it down here on Saturday to see your new grand daughter Kathy, but thinking about it, I'm sure you did. Uncle Rob,I know you are in a better place with no more pain and suffering. I will miss you and thank you for the wonderful memories that I have with you and Deb, when I stayed in the mountain cabins at the ymca.  I also want to thank you for the wonderful letters you used to write to me. I love you and be sure to hug Great Grandma,Poppy, Betty and Bonnie. As an angel be sure to watch over us once in awhile. Robbie,I have no words to express the deep sorrow that I am feeling. Your journey has been cut short, just like our dad. It breaks my heart. I never told you how much I wanted our lives to be closer, but I know are paths were different, and took solace in knowing that God was watching over both of us, and our paths would cross again at his choosing.I never told you how much comfort and strength you brought to me when Mom passed away, that day in Denver, on our way to place her next to dad. I remember the BB gun that you gave me for Christmas when I was 7, and your pet raccoon “George” who never seemed to like me very much.I remember being referred to in school as “Bowen’s Little Brother”. That was both good and bad, depending on whether it was someone that liked you, or someone that had locked horns with you. This included your teachers. How come Mrs. Cessna in 6th grade never really seemed to trust me?I remember how wonderful I felt when I saw the peace and joy that radiated from your face, when you held Dominic in our Kitchen, and how hard it was for me to see you leave after Christmas.I remember that last phone call. Thank You.I know your life was filled with joy, happiness, and many accomplishments, but I also know that you struggled. The turmoil is over and I know your soul is at peace now. I know that you are in heaven with the rest of our family that we grew up with, Mom & Dad, Pop and Grandma, Grandma Jo and Grandpa Ralph, Great Grandma Roark, Aunt Bonnie, and Aunt Bev. Although you will be missed here, I pray that you may find the peace that we all search for in your new heavenly home.  With God for all eternity.  Rest in Peace Robbie, Till we meet again.

It's hard to imagine that Rob is gone.  Growing up Rob was always like a brother and the memories I have are as vivid today as the on days that they happened.  From the camping trips my dad took all the cousins on to flying down icy roads heading to work at the cement plant.  I'll miss ya Rob.  Run Rabbit Run.  Till we meet again.

My heart is filled with sadness of the passing of my counsin Robbie as I recall the wonderful memories I shared with him. He was very special to me and was like a brother. He always called me ""Sis"" which made me feel special in his eyes. He will always remain in my heart and in my memories. One of the last times we talked he told me about his dream to move to the mountains which he loved, where he could have horses and enjoy the outdoors that he cherished so much. Robbie, I hope you are living that dream now in a place where there is no pain and no hurting. I love you. Kathy Jo[your ""Sis""]

Robbie, with heavy heart I sign the guest book knowing I'll never hear your voice on the phone again. You always made me smile.  I loved you like another son.  You are absent from your body but present with our LORD and SAVIOR!Aunt Jody

It's hard to express in words the sadness that I feel for the loss of Rob.  Our mothers' being twins gave us a special bond that even time and distance could not erase.  It would take a novel to share all the experiences we had in our lifetime but I will always have those memories.  Rob's life was cut way too short but he was a man of faith and I know he is at peace now with our Heavenly Father.

It seems like only yesterday that Robbie was coming into Selbe Western Wear to get his boots and jeans. Always a sweet little guy.

We feel such sadness for the untimely passing of our nephew Robbie.  We have many happy memories of Robbie and our children growing up together at our family dinners and rodeoing.

Rob was a caring person.  Always there for others.  He liked to fish as I did. We were always talking about horses and roping. I'll sure miss you.
